COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The course introduces students to salient scientific working methods at the onset of their studies (from rules for citation via compilation of a bibliography to using library catalogs and online databases to compiling excerpts).

 

COURSE OUTCOMES:

Students know how to carry out literature searches in libraries and databases and are familiar with and know how to apply the formal rules and guidelines for writing of scientific papers and structuring of reports.
